New Stuff:
New Skill: Banishment: Cause a Spatial Rupture in a 5 meter diameter around you. Affected targets are Teleported to a random position and Stunned for 2 seconds. Damaging a Stunned Enemy will remove Stun.
Scales from 100% of weapon damage.
Cost: 2 Essence.
Cooldown: 6 Seconds
New Rune: Temporal Shift - Accelerated Shift: Reduces Temporal Shift’s Cooldown and Duration by 50%.
New Rune: Temporal Shift - Temporal Investment: When friendly Projectiles enter Temporal Shift, increase their size and damage by 50%.
New Rune: Arcane Storm - Split Storm: Arcane Storm projectiles now Split on hit, but deal 30% less damage.
New Rune: Arcane Storm - Momentum: When you score a Critical Hit with Arcane storm, your next casting of Arcane storm gains 1 extra Projectile. (If multiple projectiles Crit in a single casting, this can stack.)
New Rune: Stream of Stars - Constellation: Star Projectiles now Chain instead of Pierce.
New Rune: Spatial Distortion - Multi-Dimensional Distortion: Projectile Chain and Pierce also trigger Dimensional Distortion’s damage.
New Rune: Steal Time - Weight of Years: Steal time no longer generates Essence, instead it drains Essence 1 whenever it ticks, but deals triple damage.
Balance:
Skills:
Stream of Stars: Star Projectiles now move toward the current location of your mouse when they finish hovering. (Previously they fired toward the position the mouse cursor was in at the time they were created.)
Dash: Dash now grants invincibility by default. Warp Stride Rune has been removed.
Temporal Shift - Chronal Collapse Rune: Increased damage to 400% (Up from 200%).
Spatial Distortion - Deep Distortion Rune: Increased damage modifier to 200% (Up from 100%). Reduced Cooldown to 0.5 Seconds (down from 1 second.)
Dash & Tactical Teleport: These skills are now tagged as Interrupts. Interrupt skills will activate even if another skill is in progress, and will also cancel actively Channeled Skills.
Void Mastery - Penetrating Emptiness: Now only 1 rank (down from 3)
Void Mastery - Breach of Convenience: Now 3 ranks (up from 1).
Enemies:
Crab Enemy: The Crab Enemy’s damage has been reduced by 33%. Additionally, its counter attack projectile has been made more distinct.
Enrager Enemy: The Enraged buff granted from the Enrager Enemy now only adds +50% to Damage and Attack Speed (Down from +100%).
Boss Enemies: Boss enemies now always drop Aetherium Ingots.
Minion Enemies: Minion enemies have ⅕ the normal chance of spawning as Elite.
Items:
Void Gazer’s Hood: Now has an inherent +100% Void Damage Affix.
Coil of Lost Potential: Self damage caused by this item can no longer kill you.
Essence Hungering Tome: The status now stacks up to 20 times (down from infinite).
Misc:
Essence Regeneration Value: This affix can no longer be forged. Every point of this was a multiplier on Essence regeneration. It was far too powerful. The stat still exists, but it cannot be rolled onto gear via the forge. Essence Regeneration Rate is still available however.
Projectile Splitting: When a Projectile splits, the child projectiles are now 20% smaller.
UX Improvements:
Skills Panel: The Level Up button is now accessible from the Skills Panel, when the player has unallocated levels.
Runes Panel: Inactive Runes are now darker, enhancing the contrast between active and inactive Runes.
Bug Fixes:
Dying while dashing no longer results in being unable to move.
Fixed an issue with the main menu getting stuck open during restarts.
It’s no longer possible to channel multiple skills at once. (Though this may return as a feature for Spellstorm Mage)
